How does the trial work?

Our trial lets you explore all our premium features at a low promotional price.

If you decide to continue with your membership after the trial, the payment method used to activate the trial will be automatically billed once the trial ends. Please note that charges may take up to two business days to appear on your billing statement.

If you prefer not to continue, simply downgrade your trial before it expires to avoid any charges. Any documents you create during the trial will remain accessible even after downgrading.

Important: The trial is a one-time offer per customer.

How can I change my payment method?

To change your payment method for upcoming future payments, simply follow the following steps:

2. Click on your avatar in the top-right corner and select ‘Billing.’
3. Navigate to 'Payment Details'.
4. Click on 'Add New' and start adding the payment method process.

How do i cancel my subscription?

Cancelling your subscription is quick and hassle-free. Cancel your subscription immediately anytime. Choose from one of the following options:

Cancel via the contact page
On the contact page navigate to 'Cancel subscription'. Enter your email address associated with your account and click 'Cancel Subscription'. Your subscription will be automatically cancelled, and you’ll receive a confirmation email.

Cancel directly through your account
Follow the following steps to cancel your subscription directly in your account.
1. Log in to your account using your email and password.
2. Click on your avatar in the top-right corner and select ‘Billing.’
3. Navigate to 'Subscription' and click on 'Cancel Subscription'.
4. Your subscription will be immediately cancelled, and a confirmation email will be sent to you.

Cancel via the helpdesk
Head to our contact page and find the options to connect with our helpdesk. Submit your cancellation request to the helpdesk trough one of the contact options. Our helpdesk will process your cancellation request as soon as possible and you will always receive a e-mail confirmation once the cancellation is complete.

When I will be charged after the trial ends?

You will be automatically billed on the first day your paid membership begins. If you’ve activated a trial, billing will occur the day after your trial ends. No charges will be applied if you cancel your membership during the trial period.

For example:
If you sign up for a 14-day free trial of Legally.io Premium on July 1st, your billing will begin on July 15th. Following that, you’ll be charged on the 15th of each month until you choose to downgrade or cancel your membership.

To find you billing history and invoices, simply follow the following steps:

The number of documents you can create or e-sign depends on your subscription plan:

Free Plan: Create up to three legal documents; e-signature functionality is not included.
Premium Plan: Enjoy unlimited document creation and full access to e-signature and collaboration functionalities.

How can i change the font of a legal document?

To change the font style of your documents, simply follow the following steps:

3. Select your preferred font style.
4. Your adjusted font style will be displayed on your documents after next downloading any of your documents.

How do i organize my folders?

To add your (company) logo or branding to your documents, simply follow the following steps:

Access your account

2. Click on your avatar in the top-right corner and select ‘Branding.’
3. Upload your logo and adjust the preferred settings.
4. Your logo will be displayed on your documents after next downloading any of your documents.

To edit one of your created legal documents, simply follow the following steps:

2. Click on 'Documents' in the left menu. Search for the document that you want to edit.
3. Click on the three dots and click 'Edit'.
4. You will be redirected to the document wizard to edit your document.

How do i organize my documents?

To organize your created legal documents, simply follow the following steps:

2. Click on 'Documents' in the left menu. Search for the document that you want to organize.
3. Click on the three dots and click 'Move to folder' or 'Archive'.
4. Your file will be move to the selected folder or archived.

How do I download a legal document?

To download one of your created legal documents, simply follow the following steps:

2. Click on 'Documents' in the left menu. Search for the document that you want to download.
3. Click on the three dots and select the preferred file to download (PDF or DocX).
4. Your file will be downloaded directly.

How do i print a legal document?

To print one of your created legal documents, simply follow the following steps:

2. Click on 'Documents' in the left menu. Search for the document that you want to download.
3. Click on the three dots and click 'Print'.
4. Your file will be served for printing.

How to invite other users to my Legally.io workspace?

To invite a user to your Legally.io workspace, simply follow the following steps:

Access your account
‍1. Log in to your account using one of the login options.
2. Navigate to 'Users'.
3. Enter the name and email address of the user that you want to add.
4. Select the preferred 'User Status':
- Select 'Admin' if you want to give the user access to your whole workspace and features.
- Select 'User' if you want to give the user only access to certain documents.
5. Click 'Add User'. The user will receive an invite to your workspace.

Is it possible to give other users access to only specific documents?

To can grant access to specific documents in Legally.io, simply follow the following steps:

Access your account
‍1. Log in to your account using one of the login options.
2. Navigate to 'Documents' and search for the document that you want to give access to.
3. Click on the three dots and select 'Access'.
4. Select the user that you want to give access to this document and click save.

What are workspaces and how do i use them?

Workspaces in Legally.io are designed to allow you to collaborate across multiple projects using a single account. You can join as many workspaces as you need, making it simple to manage different teams or processes without juggling multiple logins.

How to use different workspaces?
When you create a Legally.io account, a workspace will be automatically created. If another user invites you to their workspace, you’ll gain access as soon as you accept the invitation — no extra setup required. You can easily switch your workspace by logging in and clicking on your avatar on the right top corner.

How can i see the history of one of my legal documents?

To see the history of one of your created legal documents, simply follow the following steps:
